I recently discovered the “Beyond Good Intention” project and I must admit that this is something that I’ve been looking for. “Beyond Good Intention” is a film series investigating the effectiveness of international aid. The project is made by Tori Hogan sharing with us her world- journey where she’s visiting different types of aid projects. What I really like about the film is that even though it is short, it is very focused and raised good questions about the effectiveness of international aid.

This is an issue that I have also been discussing in my previous posts. There is no doubt that until now, there has been a very positive coverage of Social Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Innovation etc. However, I have also felt the need of taking it to the next level where we critically evaluate the efforts, find better way to measure the social impacts in order to be able to generate true and sustainable social changes. With this goal in mind, the project “Beyond Good Intention” is definitely worth to watch, reflect and comment on. So if you have not heard about this project, well, it is now the time to sit back and watch the film series and be part of the discussion. You can find it here:
